Mappings of Global StandardsAs part of our work in the GAPPS to promote transportability & mutual recognition, we mapped various global standards to the GAPPS standards. Based on the GAPPS standard this mapping exercise is done to show which core and common set of topics the various standards have. Up unitl now the following standards have been mapped to the GAPPS standards: - Australian Institute of Project Management Standards (AIPM)
- Australian National Competency Standards for Project Management (ANCSPM)
- IPMA Competence Baseline V3.0 (ICB®)
- P2M
- Project Management Institute's PMBoK®Guide 2008
- PRINCE2 2009
- SAQA National Qualifications Level 5 Standard
Whilst the above standards have been mapped to the GAPPS standard, liability for use of the mapping for any purpose rests with the user. GAPPS does not provide qualifications or training against its standards, and therefore any use of this mapping should be referred to the owner of the standard mapped for confirmation of recognition of equivalence prior to usage. Mapping of Global Certifications and Qualifications GAPPS has pubished a mapping of the different assessment methods used for the various certifications and qualifications for project management that are issued by professional association and governments endorsed institutes such as universities and vocational education providers.
