Projekt Management Austria, a member of IPMA is hosting the next working session in Vienna. We'll be continuing working on the mapping of global program manager standards. We'll also be continuing work on the the project controls standards and sponsor standards. All members can register and attend. Tell Us Your GAPPS Story

Organisations and Individuals around the world are using GAPPS standards and mappings in all sorts of different ways. Some are using the

• GAPPS Standards as the basis for their internal competency assessment tools
•  CIFTER to categorise the complexity of the projects in their portfolio
•  CIFTER and standards to assign resources to the projects and de-risk portfolio execution
•  Standards to inform their thinking when developing project and/or program manager competency frameworks  

We want to know how you and/or your organisation ARE using GAPPS. Whether it be directly, indirectly, in a big or a small way we want to know. We'd like to compile a set of "how GAPPS helps" stories to share with the PM community. We'd love to have the organisation and/or individual recognised in the story but if ANONYMOUS is all you can do we'll take what we can get!

If you ever wondered what is the difference between all the different project management certifications, credentials and qualifications available around the world this mapping will help answer your questions. The GAPPS has produced a mapping of the various assessment methods used in the certification, credentially and qualification of project managers and project personnel globally. It compares pre-requisites, what is assessed (knoweldge or skills) and how it is assessed (exam, portfolio, interview etc). All GAPPS mapping are freely available to the public.
